Quaker Cupboard Thrift Shop open 10 am – 1 pm Fridays

Lots of new merchandise in the Thrift Shop, come by Friday to check it out.

The Quaker Cupboard Thrift Shop is open each Friday from 10 am to 1 pm.  Sales from the Thrift Shop fund the Food Pantry. Food Pantry hours are 10 am to 12 pm.

If Winston-Salem schools are closed because of inclement weather, the food pantry and thrift shop will be closed.

Sunday, July 14, 2013 we are delighted to welcome Max Carter, Director of Friends Center and Campus Ministry Coordinator at Guilford College.  He will be speaking during our 11:00 A.M. worship service.  Lunch will follow in the Fellowship House .

Max is the director of Friends Center and campus ministry coordinator at Guilford College, where he also directs the Quaker Studies Program.  He is a recorded Friends minister with interests in the Middle East, the Amish, Quaker history,and more.   Max and his wife Jane lead annual service trips to the Ramallah Friends Schools in Palestine.
